On September 2, the new-generation Ideal MEGA — positioned as a technology flagship MPV — officially launched its pre-sale. This model, hailed as "a new-generation mobile home," takes the in-cabin lighting atmosphere experience to an entirely new level. Zenithnano bring the EC smart-dimming side windows to the new model, elevating the windows into a dedicated third living space for the owner. And the key upstream material enabling this EC dimming solution to truly come into operation is none other than ITO conductive film.

Zenithnano's EC smart-dimming side windows showcase impressively strong product capabilities: 10%–12% luminous transmittance in the bright state, dropping to as low as 0.25% in the dark state, with a dimming ratio exceeding 40x. In the dark state, the view from outside is completely blocked and screen content never leaks, ensuring full privacy whether for in-car rest, changing clothes, or business discussions. It replaces harsh instantaneous switching with a soft 30-second gradual dimming that aligns with the natural perception of the human eye, producing no glare. It supports free multi-gear adjustment, flexibly adapting to different weather conditions and a wide range of lighting scenarios. It blocks 95% of infrared and 99.9% of ultraviolet radiation, with heat-insulation performance superior to traditional sunshades, effectively easing cabin temperature rise and reducing the vehicle's overall thermal management energy consumption, while carefully protecting the interior and occupants. Combined with all-solid-state technology and power-loss memory, it maintains the current transmittance state after power is cut off and operates stably at low power — mitigating the risks posed by sudden light changes while driving, and ensuring unobstructed visibility during emergency rescue, safeguarding driving safety across all scenarios.

After Dimming

The underlying working principle of the entire EC dimming film system relies on ITO conductive film acting as the transparent electrodes on both sides. Driven by an applied external voltage, it activates the intermediate dimming material to change the film's ability to transmit, reflect, and absorb light, thereby achieving stepless dimming. Beyond the electrochromic technology route, ITO conductive film is equally an indispensable core upstream substrate for mainstream dimming film routes such as PDLC, SPD, and LC. With its outstanding conductivity, optical uniformity, and high transparency, it builds stable and reliable electrode support for a wide range of dimming products. To date, Zenithnano has established deep and solid collaborations with leading companies across multiple technology routes, helping in-vehicle smart dimming products such as panoramic sunroofs and side windows smoothly move toward mass production.
